31 Days Of Posts!

Hi! One of my favorite youtube gurus is posting a video every single day in December and I decided to try too! I also think I will have some videos up too with some of my posts. I do have a few things planned out like my November favorites, project pan update and also a few tutorials. Otherwise I'm going to need some ideas so if you have any comment below. I just want to let you know if I don't post much this week it's because I'm going to be working a lot. But I figured posting something everyday in December that would make up for this crappy week(: So watch for those coming up!

I'm trying to make some progress on these Bare Mineral eyeshadows. I can't wait to do my update on the 6th of December. I'm hoping to use up one of the eyeshadows by next update. Also sorry about the hair. I always do my makeup first and then my hair and it wasn't done yet. I used 17 products while doing my makeup but I also used my BBW hand cream and Excite rollerball so a total of 19! That's definitely not too bad. I use a lot of this stuff on a day to day basis but I do have the days where I sit down and try to only use Project Pan stuff so that's what most of these project pan fotd's are. I hope you guys enjoyed this! I will have my last Tarte tutorial up tomorrow. And thank you for reading!

Growing Out A Bob: 1 Year Update!!!

Hi! So it is really close to the time that I got my hair cut last year. Which means it has been one year of (trying to) growing my hair out! So I'm going to go back to the beginning.

Here is where I started.

Here is my 3 month update.

Here is my 5th update when I got my haircut.

This is my 6 month update.

This is from my 7 month update ( I should not have gotten my hair cut because this was a set back).

This was from my 9th month update.

This is from my last haircut/11 month update.

And lastly the BIG reveal!

I'm also growing out my bangs so this is where they are now.

I feel like even in just the last month my hair has grown a lot. It still does that annoying thing where it likes to flip out but it is getting better. I'm thinking another 1/2 -1 inch and that will not be a problem. I'm going to continue this series to see where it goes. I look back even just 6 months ago and would not want my hair that short. I'll probably do another update in 3 months or maybe 6. I did have a moment though. I fell in love with this picture!

So I almost went way back to the beginning. I'm sure I'll come back to this cut at some point maybe even shorter like this.
But IF that happens it will be awhile. So let's move on to what I'm doing to help my hair grow.
1. Joico Damage Shampoo, Conditioner, and Mask- This helps my hair a ton especially since I like to color it a lot. I also heat style my hair about 3 times a week so this helps keep it healthy and strong.
2. Joico Moisture Mask- This also helps keep my hair healthy by giving it all the moisture it needs.
3. Leave in Conditioner- I currently have 4 kinds. I have the Rusk 12-1 Treatment, the Paul Mitchel Forever Blonde Dramatic Repair Spray, the Biolage Keratindose Renewal Spray, and lastly my It's a 10 Leave in.
4. Eating Healthy and Staying Hydrated -this always helps.
5. Cutting Down on Heat Styling- Some weeks I only heat style my hair once and other weeks it's more. I would say it's an average of 2-3 times a week but this helps a lot too.

I guess that's it. I just haven't been as focused on getting it to grow now that it is starting to get longer. So let's talk about my goals for my next update. My hair touches my collarbone right now. So I'm hoping for a couple inches below that.

It's getting hard to find pictures that are a little longer than my hair to use as goal pictures. Lucy Hale is one of the few actress where you can actually see her hair gradually growing longer so she'll probably be my next few goal pictures. However I think this is reasonable. My fingers are crossed my hair some how gets easier to style because it has been a pain ever since it hit just above my shoulders. Well I will have another one of these up in February. I hope you guys enjoyed this and thank you for reading!

P.S. Sorry about the length of this post but I wanted to be able to show you my progress.

Tarte Gorgeous Getaways Tutorial #3

Hi! Here is tutorial number 3 using this awesome set. I'm hoping to have number 4 up tomorrow. This is the quad we are using for this look.

It's the darkest of the quads but one of my favs! Beforehand I applied my UD Naked BB Cream, Revlon ColorStay Whipped Foundation, and my Tarte eye primer. The first color I applied on the lids was Buckingham Palace.

Next I applied Rocky Mountains into my crease. At first I thought this was just a matte grey but it's more taupe colored.

Next I applied my favorite shadow Bordeaux into my crease and outer v. I also applied it along the lower lashline since it is my favorite.

To finish off the eyes I applied Serengeti Sand as my highlight under my brow bone and inner corner. For the last few steps I applied my UD 24/7 Pencil in Perversion and two coats of my L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara.

For the rest of the face I filled in my brows with my MAC Veluxe Pencil. I contoured lightly with my Elf bronzer and used the blush from this quad in Ambitious (this is my second favorite blush from the set). I used my Nars Illuminator as always and I set everything with my Bare Minerals Touch up Veil. For the lips I used MAC Creme Cup and applied the Tarte gloss in New York Minute. I think this is the most pigmented of the 3 glosses. This is the finished look.

I really love this look! It's smokey and pretty. The Bordeaux shadow is just so pretty. Like I said I'm hoping to have the other tutorial up tomorrow. I will have a few other random posts up after that for the rest of this week. Also my Project Pan Update will be towards the beginning of December. I hope you guys liked this tutorial and thank you for reading!
