NYX Hippie Chic Tutorial

Hi! Today's tutorial is centered around my NYX Matte Lipstick in Hippie Chic! I bought this looking for a dupe to Lime Crimes Babette. This probably isn't a dupe but its that perfect peach color I was looking for. It was just one of those colors that screamed summer to me and I knew I needed it. Let's get started!

I first applied UD Buck into my crease and blended up and out. Next I applied UD Barlust on my lid.
Next I applied UD Darkhorse very slightly into my outer v and crease to add some definition.
Under the eyes I applied UD Half Baked and Smog. For my inner corner I used UD Sin and for my brow highlight I used the light matte color from the UD Shattered Face Case. Then I applied my Essence Gel Liner and my MakeUp For Ever liner to my waterline.
To finish the look I used my Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation. I wanted the cheeks to have a nice summery look so I applied my Too Faced 16hr Summer Bronzer and then my Jane blush in Peach Bouquet slightly over top. My brows I used my Rimmel brow pencil and my mascara I used my Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara. Lips are obviously NYX Matte Lipstick in Hippie Chic but I also put a tiny dab on Buxom lip gloss in Debbie on. Matte formulas are obviously drying so I want the gloss for some moisture. And this is the finished look!

I love the Hippie Chic color! It's like the perfect peachy color! Not so much digging my new hair color though. Not sure if I want to go back dark or add some highlights. I am liking the idea of a dark ombre but not sure if my hair could stand it. I might continue towards blonde though so I'm not sure. Also what hair trends are you liking for summer? Also any favorite lip colors for summer? Comment below! Anyways I hope you liked this tutorial and I will try to have something else up soon. I would really like to start doing videos but I don't have the set up quite yet. Hopefully soon!(:

Growing Out A Bob: 1 year and 6 months

Hi! I seriously almost forgot to do this post! So one major thing is my hair color change. I going to be totally honest this is the worst thing I could have done. It damaged my hair sooooo bad. Like I don't know if my hair has ever been this damaged. Yeah bad! But one good thing has come out of this and it is I've stepped up on making sure my hair is in better shape. I'm determined to get it back in great condition. Anyways it has been 2 months since my last update when I had an inch cut off and this is where I'm at now. I'm sorry some of the pictures are sideways. It was the only way to get a full picture of the length. I'm also still not on my computer so I couldn't rotate it.

I feel I have grown back the inch I cut off. Of course now I'm in need of another cut now though. I could use like an inch or two cut off but I think I'm going to try to get just a 1/2in to 1 inch off so it's not so much. One of the stylist at work said it's ok to cut the damage off little by little as long as I'm taking really good care of my hair in between trims and I get it trimmed every 6-8 weeks. Honestly I haven't been good at getting it cut every 6-8 weeks but maybe that's something I could improve on before my next update. What have I been doing to keep it healthy though?
1. Joico Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner- I feel like my hair didn't need protein before I dyed it but it mostly needed moisture. No brand is better for moisture than Joico in my opinion.

2. Joico Moisture Mask- I only have one use left so I have to purchase more tomorrow but this stuff is the best. My dry ends still feel really bad but this does make a difference.

3. Macadamia Oil- I put this on the ends for extra moisturizing.

4. Joico K-Pak Deep Penetrating Mask- I used this the first few times after coloring my hair to give it some protein that it was missing from bleaching it.

5. Leave In Conditioner- I have been using the It's a 10 original leave in mask and the It's a 10 Keratin one. I also have been finishing up my Paul Mitchell Forever Blonde one too.

6. Trying to take my vitamins and staying hydrated!- Being all around healthy seriously helps your hair be in better shape. I'm thinking about getting the Hair Skin and Nail vitamins from It Works. If you have tried them let me know down below!

7. NO heat styling- Since I've colored my hair I have heat styled my hair once. I'm actually trying to go a whole month without using any heat. It's been really hard because my hair isn't long to do like a really pretty fishtail braid or something more complicated. I actually did no heat waves the other day and those came out pretty. I just need more options than a top knot. I did use my flat iron today though to show you guys how long my hair is.

I still feel like I am no where near my end goal which would be somewhere in here.
Lucy Hale is like that one person that if I could I would trade hair with. But as you can see I want it quite long. I still feel quite far away from that though. Here are my goal pictures for next update which will be in August unless I get my hair cut then I will do another update before then. I'm sure I will get it cut because the ends are quite bad. But here are some ideas of where I hope to be.

A little longer than where I'm at now. I'm trying to set some realistic goals for my hair. If you guys have any suggestions let me know. I'm thinking about trying the Not Your Mother's Shampoo and Conditioner for growing out your hair. I think it's called Grow Strong. I know not coloring my hair would be a huge help to growing out my hair but I don't think I can't not do that lol. The longest I've made it was 2 months. But yeah any ideas or suggestions please comment below or if you have tried the It Works stuff let me know(: Thank you for reading and I can't wait for the next update!

My Current Skincare Routine!

Hey! I realized I've never done a skincare routine. I actually really love trying out new skincare items. I just tend to get overwhelmed when it comes to purchasing them. So here is what I'm currently trying out!
First things first is my cleanser. I'm currently using my Pur Minerals Soothing Gentle Cleanser which is ok. I think it is gentle cleanser for sensitive skin but I personally need a bit more. So I've been using my Olay Out Of This Swirled Cleanser and Scrub. This stuff smells amazing! It also helps with my pores and keeping my skin matte.
I've never believed in the you need a morning and night moisturizer. But this moisturizer is so good! This moisturizer is great for oily skin because it doesn't make your skin look more oily and its a nice light moisturizer. Plus it smells really nice.
I use this moisturizer because it's too heavy for me to use during the day. It's a gel consistency so it is a little on the thicker side. So as you can guess this is my night moisturizer.
Next are my special treatments and masks. First is this Ulta Deep Treatment Foaming Mask. This I feel like is like a face wash and kinda like a mask. I use this when I don't have time for mask but I want a really deep clean. I feel like it doesn't do a whole lot in making my skin look better but like I said it's good for when I'm in a rush. The second one is my Pur Minerals Dirty Girl Mask. This is really hard to remove but it does really deep clean your skin and pull out a lot of oils and impurities. It just isn't a holy grail item for me so this won't be in collection long.
Lastly are my Freeman masks. I have the Strawberry and Chocolate one and the Dead Sea Minerals one. I like both of these. I don't feel like the they do quite as much as the Dirty Girl one but they are really nice for the price. They make your face feel super soft.
And that is it for my current skincare routine! I'm still on the search for an eye cream and things like that. Do you have a favorite skincare item right now? Comment below!(: Thank you for reading!

Warm Neutral Tutorial

Hi! So today's tutorial has quickly become a go to look for me. It uses some of my project pan stuff but it's also really pretty and surprisingly quick. Let's get started!
First I apply MAC Naked Lunch shadow in to the inner half of my lid and I applied UD Toasted on the outer half blending where the 2 meet.

Next I applied UD Buck into my crease and blended it up and out.
Then to darken up the crease and outer v I used UD Hustle. I also used UD Sin on the inner corner to get a nice bright effect. For my brow highlight I used MAC Glamour Light.
To finish the eyes I applied my Make Up For Ever liner in Black along my upper lashline and for my lower waterline I applied my Almay liner in Topaz. I also applied Toasted and Hustle along my lower lashline. I used my CoverGirl Flamed Out mascara.

For the rest of the face I used my UD Naked Skin Foundation. For blush I used my ELF blush from the blush and bronzer duo. For my brows I used my MAC Veluxe Pencil in Deep Brunette. And lastly for my lips I used my new NYX Butter Gloss in Éclair. And that is the finish look! Sometimes I change out the lip color for a different look.

I hope you guys liked this tutorial! I have a few more planned! And even though it still feels like spring, summer is right around the corner so I have some summer tutorials coming up. Definitely some stuff with color(; I also have some reviews coming up and a skincare routine. Is there any certain beauty products you are loving for spring/summer this year? Comment below!(: Thank you for reading!

Bath & Body Works and Ulta Haul!

Hi! I'm back today with a haul! I'm going to start with Bath & Body Works because that's where we went first. I was out of hand sanitizer so I repurchased 5 for $5. I repurchased Island Margarita and Warm Vanilla Sugar but we also got some new scents. The new ones are Beautiful Day, Vanilla Berry Sorbet, and Coral Reef.
The main reason we headed to Bath and Body Works was candles! I was really hoping they would have the big ones on sale for 2 for $20 but that sale was over. They did have the mason jar candles on sale though for 2 for $20. So we bought Watermelon Lemonade and Red Velvet Cupcake. We already had Red Velvet but I decided to repurchase it because it's definitely one of our favorites.

That was it at Bath & Body Works so on to Ulta.
First I got some CoverGirl and Olay products because they had a gift bag if you purchased $15 of their products. I started getting some waterproof mascara. I picked up the CoverGirl Flamed Out mascara because the wand looks similar to the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara and I've been wanting to try that out. Maybe review on this in the future?
Next I needed some skincare stuff. I purchased the Olay Fresh Effects S'Wipes Out Makeup Remover Wipes. I usually stick with Neutrogena but I'm excited to try these. I also purchased the Out Of This Swirled Cleanser and Scrub. I feel like this is similar to the other Olay Cleanser and Scrub that was in my project pan empties a few months ago.
That put me over my $15 for the free gift bag. Here is what the bag looks like. It a really cute makeup bag. I love the rose gold details.
Inside is this CoverGirl Bombshell Volume Mascara. This is full size too so that's really nice.
It also came with this Olay Fresh Effects Dew Over Moisturizer. I've really wanted to try this. It's not full size but it is a good trial size.
Lastly it came with two little Olay samples. One is a cc cream and the other is a anti-aging moisturizer.
Next I got a complete steal on these Tweezerman Tweezers. These were like a originally $24 but they were on clearance for like $6. I also like the cool pattern.
I got this Gwen Stefani OPI polish on clearance for $4.50. It's called In True Stefani Fashion. It's just a pretty glitter polish.
I also repurchased Stila Kitten eyeshadow because mine is almost gone.
Next I headed over the NYX section because their stuff was buy one get one 50%. I wanted the NYX Shine Killer but we didn't have any in stock so I picked up the Pore Filler. I definitely want to do a review on this.
I also wanted to get NYX Butter Gloss in Crème Brulee but there wasn't any on the shelf so I grabbed Éclair. My Crème Brulee went missing :(
Of course a few days later I did find Crème Brulee so I purchased that and Raspberry Tart. I've had my eye on it for awhile so I'm glad I got it.
On the way to the checkout I also grabbed this Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrub in Coconut Lime. I wanted this for sunless tanner season. I wanted to use this to exfoliate and moisturize. By the way this scent and the mango smell amazing.
I got these for my little guy for bath time. These are the special Easter scents so they were on clearance. I got Jelly Bean and Marshmallow Chick.
And lastly I got a free sample of the Benefit Porefessional.
And that is it for my haul! I hope you guys liked it! Have you purchased any new exciting things lately? Also watch for reviews on some of this stuff. Thank you for reading!

Copper and Green Eyeshadow Tutorial

Hi! I recently purchased some Ulta eyeshadows on clearance. One of them was this beautiful green called Verdigris. I also bought a purple and another unique color so I'll try to do tutorials with those. Again I like these Ulta eyeshadows I just would recommend wearing a good primer or base underneath to get some more pigmentation and staying power. Let's get started!
First I start by applying my UD Primer Potion. Next I apply UD Buck in my crease and then UD Chopper on the lid.
Then I applied UD Smog into my crease and outer v.
Next I applied UD LSD eyeliner along my lower lashline I used that as my base for the Verdigris eyeshadow. So next I applied that over top of LSD.
To finish the eyes I applied UD Foxy as my brow highlight and for my inner corner highlight I applied a mix of MAC Honesty and Glamourlight. I also use my Essence Gel liner and my Benefit BadGal Mascara.

For the rest of my face I started with using my UD Naked skin foundation. I also applied my Jane blush in Peach Bouquet. For my lips I used NYX Butter Lipstick in Candy Buttons and I topped it with a Tarte peach colored gloss. And that is the finished look!

And I hope you guys liked this tutorial! I really like it and think it would look STUNNING on green eyes! I'm hoping to have some more posts up soon but I can't make any promises until I hear something about my laptop. I'll try to have something up Friday though. Thank you for reading!
