MAC Warm Palette Tutorial

Hi! Today I'm doing a tutorial of a look I was kind of nervous about. Sometimes it comes out amazing, other times I'm wondering why it doesn't look quite the same. Overall I love the colors of this palette and they create a beautiful look. This is how the palette looks.
Starting from the left the colors are Glamour Light, Retrospeck, Honesty, Cognac (upper), and Sketch (lower).
Starting out I applied Retrospeck to the inner half of my lid and Cognac to the outer and blended them so it wasn't a harsh line between the two.

Next I applied one color out of the palette I used the medium brown color out of my Anastasia palette or you could use UD Buck or something similar instead. I blended this color into my crease.

Next I applied Sketch into my crease and outer v. I also applied it along my lower lashline.

Lastly for the eyes I applied Glamour Check as my inner corner highlight and as my brow bone highlight. I applied my UD Perversion Pencil and then I took a pencil brush with Sketch and went over the Perversion liner just to add a little of that red tone. Lastly I applied one coat of my L'Oreal Volminous Million Lashes mascara and one coat of my Sephora Atomic Volume mascara. And the eyes are done.

For the rest of the face I applied my L'Oreal Lumi Foundation. I also contoured a little with my elf bronzer and then I applied MAC blush in Breath Of Plum. I also tried out my new Watts Up highlighter from Benefit but I'm not sure if you can really see it. Lastly I applied my Odyssey lipstick which still did not come out in pictures.

I really like this look especially for fall and I hope you guys like it too. I was hoping to have like 3 posts up for you right now but there is something wrong with my computer. I'm posting this from my phone. I'm going to try to some how get my Birthday FOTD up tomorrow and maybe another post. Also next week I think I might do a project pan update because I have finished a few things (yay!). Thank you for reading!

Living Proof First Impression

Hi! So I wanted to do a quick first impressions post today. I tried this after taking a shower yesterday. After my hair was dry I didn't flat iron or anything I waited a few hours. But right away I noticed that my hair was amazingly soft. It felt really healthy. Later I decided to started to straighten my hair. Usually I do this in sections but I decided to just run over the ends of it and my hair styled so easily and perfectly. I was super impressed. This is how my hair looked after I straightened just the ends.

It just looks so shiny and healthy. I remember someone described it as making their hair feel like it was just styled at the salon and I would definitely agree. I personally love that feeling. So being able to get that feeling at home is great.

The Next Day: So far my hair has had the same awesome feeling as yesterday and my hair actually seems less oily today than it usually would be. It still feels super smooth. I did straightened it a little more today but it was still pretty straight from last night.

As of right now this may be a new holy grail hair product for me. I will do a more in depth review later but I was too impressed with this not to do some kind of post on it right now. Thank you for reading!

Project 10 Pan Expanded To Project 20 Pan!

Hi! I've been watching lots of youtube videos lately of Project 10 Pan or sometimes up to Project 50 Pan. I could probably never do the 50 pan but I decided to bump this up to Project 20 pan so here is the list I started with:
1.UD Naked BB Cream
2. 2 of my 4 Mascaras
3.Rimmel Brow Pencil in Hazel
4.Tarte Primer Trio
5.UD Binge 24/7 Pencil Liner
6.MAC Hue Lipstick
7.L'Oreal Lumi Foundation
8.3 Setting Powders
9.MAC Angel or Creme Cup Lipstick
10.Big Sexy Hairspray and Bedhead Superstar Spray
Bonus Items
11.Clinique Moisturising Gel
12.Paul Mitchell Color Care Shampoo and Conditioner

I figured whatever 10 items I finished first would be my Project 10 Pan and I was hoping this would last until about Christmas. Yes only 2 months but I'm trying to start small. I realized that this would probably only last me a month because I'm already half way through my L'Oreal Lumi Foundation. So I decided to up it to 20 and whatever 20 items I finish first are my Project 20 Pan since I have a few bonus items. I'm still going to try to finish up the extra items after this is over. I am allowing myself some exceptions. I cannot purchase any makeup or hair items unless it is important. Like I would be amazed if that Paul Mitchell Shampoo and Conditioner lasted until Christmas. But shampoo and conditioner is an essential so if I run out I will repurchase more. Also I'm not counting gifts as breaking the rules since my birthday is the 23rd and I'm hoping this will go until Christmas. Only if I purchase makeup with my own money. So onto the items I'm adding.

13. Elf Blush and Bronzer Duo- I've hit pan on both of these. I really just want to use it up. I would like to repurchase this or the Nars version later.

14. Buxom Lip Gloss in Princess- I really just don't like the color of this anymore. I have used quite a bit but in the end would just like to see it gone. I probably won't repurchase this exact shade but I might purchase a different shade that I would wear more.

15. Sephora Shadow Pencil- I've had this awhile and don't really use it much anymore. Again just trying to get rid of it.

 16. Sephora Flashy Eyeliner in White- I bought this hoping it would be like NYX Milk and it wasn't so I ended up just buying Milk and now I haven't used this in forever.

17. Nars Copacabana Illuminator- This is a sample from Sephora but I'm not really a huge fan of it so I would like to use it up. I would like a powder highlighter like the ones from the Balm.

18. MAC Eyeshadow in Yogurt- I bought this thinking there was some tutorial on youtube that I really liked and this was the main lid color they used. It wasn't and I feel like I don't have much use for it. It's a very light matte pink color. I just want to use this for my MAC empties.

19. Pureology Silk Bodifier- I got this as a sample from my last job and I hate the smell. I also feel like it does nothing for my hair so I don't want to see it on my vanity anymore.

20. Avon Bond Girl Perfume- There isn't much of this left. It was a gift and I just want to use it up and get some new perfumes in my collection.

21. Random Hairspray- I don't really know what brand this is. Maybe Surface? Either way I don't like it. It's crunchy and smells bad. It was another sample. Just want it gone!

22. Bath and Body Works Body Butter- This smells amazing but I've had it awhile and I'm ready to just finish it up. I don't have much left(:

23. Bare Minerals Eyeshadow Set- I've had this like since I really started collecting makeup and it's time to say good bye. I would like to use up at least 2 of these eyeshadows and then give the rest to my cousin. If I use up more great, if not it's good for her. I just would like to get some use out of it(:

24. Stila Lip Glosses- These are ok but I feel like they are just taking up space. I don't reach for these very often and I figured I might as well use them up.

25.Smashbox Burlesque Set- I've had this for a long time and I have used up the liner with this set but I would like to use up some of the other products in this.

26.Bare Minerals Touch Up Veil- I got this for Vegas as a travel size setting powder but I wasn't a huge fan of it so I took my Cover Fx Powder instead. Just want to use this up.

So I have 6 extra items. I also would kind of like to use up my MAC Veluxe Pencil but if I don't that's ok. I just want to try some new brow products. I'm also hoping to use my UD 24/7 Liquid Liner in Perversion so I can try a gel liner. Again if I don't its ok. I'm excited to share my progress with you guys. I'm not sure if I'm going to do like monthly updates or just whenever I finish something update you guys. I guess we'll see how it goes. I'm sure by the end of the week I'll have finished some products. I'm hoping to finish up the perfume, my moisturizer, and my elf setting powder. Anyways I hope you guys enjoyed this post. I may have tutorial up later or a fotd. Thank you for reading!

Growing Out A Bob: 11 Month Update

Hi! So I got my haircut Friday and it was very hard for me to do. I was nervous because I feel like I'm finally making some progress. But the girl that cut my hair was awesome and honest. We just did a dusting and she told me some of my ends still weren't great but as long as I get the dusting frequently (like every 8-12 weeks) I should still get some growth and get the bad ends off. We also worked on my bangs and adjusted the angle of them so they look way better with growing them out. So before I show you my new cut let's look at my 9 month update.

It was starting to touch my shoulders but it still looked like a bob for the most part. Now here is with my new haircut.

You can see my hair is a little longer. Not really a dramatic change or anything but I did want to update you guys. I will do a one year update in December but I'm sure my hair won't look too much different. I decided to take a picture of the back of my hair just to give you guys a better idea of how it is growing. Thank you guys for reading and watch for my next update(:

Favorite Fall Makeup

Hi! Today I'm going to share some of my favorite makeup products for fall. You can use these products anytime of the year but I mostly reach for these during fall. I feel like they fit this more dramatic time of the year and the colors work perfectly for the season.

My first favorite is MAC Odyssey Lipstick. I can't even begin to describe how gorgeous this color is. It is a fall staple in my makeup collection. It's like a berry plum color with a slight frost. This will be in an upcoming tutorial(:

Next is another MAC lipstick. It's the color Craving from my recent Ulta eyeshadow tutorial. Unfortunately I couldn't find it to swatch it with the rest of them so here is a picture of it applied. Again it's like a berry plum shade but it's different than Odyssey. So pretty for fall.

MAC Dark Side is another favorite of mine. I don't wear this as often as the others but I can't help but love it! It's a gorgeous dark vampy red. See the swatch in the picture below.

MAC Syrup lipstick is described as a cloudy pink on the MAC website. I would describe it as like a mauve pink nude. I like it because it is almost like a darker pink nude for fall. It is the one on the far left. The one in the middle is Dark Side and the last one on the right is Odyssey.

On to eyeshadows! My must have is MAC Sketch. It's a dark burgundy red color that is beautiful and dramatic. I will also be using this in a tutorial soon(:

Next is UD Roach! It's a beautiful red brown shade. It creates a perfect warm smokey eye for fall.

Next is a face product! My favorite blush for fall is Breath of Plum by MAC. I can't get over how gorgeous this blush is.

Lastly are 2 eyeshadow palettes that reach for a lot during the fall. Of course I always reach for my UD Naked palettes but the UD Smoked Palette as some great jewel tones for fall. Also the colors are perfect for the more dramatic look you are usually going for during the fall. Another awesome palette is the MAC Fabulousness 5 Warm Eyes Palette. It's got those beautiful warm colors for fall and it also has Sketch in it. Both of these are great for different looks.

I know this was kind of quick post but these are definitely my fall favorites. For some upcoming post I should have a Naked 2 bronze tutorial coming up, another tutorial using the L'Oreal Infallible eyeshadow, bold lip tutorial, and a haircut update. Keep an eye out for those this week as well as a few other posts. Thank you guys for reading(:

Beauty and Things Haul

Hi! So today is sort of my last haul of makeup things until project 10 pan is over. I just got a few things I wanted and a few things I needed. So here is everything I got(:

Most of this is from Ulta but 2 things are from Sephora and 1 from Bath and Body Works. So every year I look forward to Bath and Body Works having their fall candles. This year I didn't see any I was dying to have besides the Sweater Weather and Autumn. However I passed this one called Cider Donut and fell in love! And to make things even better it was on the 50% off shelf! So it was only $10 which made my day. It's sweet smelling with a hint of apple. Its awesome(: Next at Sephora I actually had one of my worst shopping experiences there today. There was some kind of class going on so it was busy. Not to mention no sales people would talk to us but one made sure she stopped and gave me a dirty look without saying anything. I really wanted my birthday gift but I didn't want to hang out any longer so I grabbed the Living Proof Prime Style Extender. I've been wanting to give this a try so watch for a review maybe(; If you haven't grabbed you Sephora birthday gift yet it's a small Benefit Watts Up highlighter and the They're Real mascara. I'm excited to try out the highlighter. And on to the Ulta stuff! First I started with Revlon which was buy one get one 50%. I decided to refill my Revlon ColorStay in Buff. Mine is for oily/combination skin. I also decided that I needed this quad after seeing ciaoobelllaxo/Megan use this in a recent tutorial. Here is a close up of these gorgeous fall colors(;

The lightest color has like a gold tone to it which is beautiful and I like the green toned color too. I'm excited to try this out(: Next the Ulta brand eyeshadows were 3 for $9 which is a pretty good deal. Since I liked Twilight so much I have high hopes for these.

I got these in Sunburst (right), Truffle (upper middle), and Deep Sea (left). Sunbrust reminds of Expensive Pink from MAC. It's like a pinkish orange with a gold duo chrome. Truffle is like a gold neutral color. And deep sea is aqua blue with a green duo chrome. I'm super excited to play around with these. Then I moved on to NYX which was also having the buy one get one 50% off sale. So I exchanged two of the round lipsticks I bought last month for a different round lipstick in Pure Nude.

I have some high hopes for this lipstick but I'm sure I'll be able to make it work either way. Let me know if you have tried this lipstick and what you think(: Next I decided to grab a matte lipstick. I was looking for Tea Rose but my bf ended up grabbing this one asking if I liked it and I really do. It's called Whipped Caviar.

It's like a dark nude pink color. Watch for this in a tutorial soon! Next I bought another item because of ciaoobelllaxo/Megan. It's the Butter Gloss in Creme Brulee. Sorry I don't have a close up of this but it's a pretty nude gloss and it smells yummy. I can't wait to try it. It have one of the NYX matte lip creams and I love the texture so I'm sure I'll love this. And lastly for the NYX products I grabbed a lip pencil in Cabaret. It's a darker red shade. I got it to use with my MAC Russian Red lipstick and Dark Side. That was it for NYX but Ardell was having the same sale so I got two sets of lashes. The first set is the fashion lashes in 120 demi and the second is technically Andrea brand and it's in the number 33. I'm thinking I'll use the 33's for Halloween but we'll see.

Lastly I picked up a few random little things. I grabbed some bobby pins (they always disappear) in bronze. And lastly I grabbed this Nads Eyebrow Shaper. It's pen like thing that you twist up the wax and then you apply a strip and rip it off. I hope this works good. So maybe a review on that too?  I was going to get the CoverGirl Outlast Foundation but changed my mind when I noticed the Revlon sale and figured I could save it for after Project 10 Pan. So I hope you guys enjoyed this quick post. I won't have a post up tomorrow as we are going to Six Flags but I will have something up soon. Thank you for reading(:
