Summer to Fall Transition Tutorial

Hi! So I don't think of I've done a tutorial or anything of this look. I'm taking one of my go to summer makeup looks and transitioning it to my fall go to look. I should also mention this look pretty much only uses the Naked palette. Let's get started!

I have my L'Oreal Lumi Foundation on and my UD Primer Potion on my lid. I started by applying UD Half Baked all over my lid.

Next I applied Buck sort of just above my crease.

Then I applied Smog into my crease and outer v and darkened my outer v with a little bit of Darkhorse. I also applied Smog along my lowerlashline with Half Baked in the inner corner. I usually use my Almay liner in Topaz but I decided to use Darkhorse for a darker look.

This is where I usually apply my bronzer and my nude lips. And then I'm finished with my summer look but no because we are going into fall(;

So instead I applied MAC Breath Of Plum blush and MAC Odyssey lipstick. And this is the finished look!

I hate that Odyssey isn't showing up as great in pictures as it really is. It looks almost sort of brown and it is such a beautiful plum color. But this is how I transitioned this look for fall. I hope you guys enjoyed!

Mini Project 10 Pan Update

Hi! I finished one item in my project 10 pan sort of. I finished the CoverGirl Powder but it's only 1/3 of the powders. I was counting all three of the powders as one item. Also I used my Paul Mitchell Shampoo and Conditioner again today and I MAY take those off because I had to wash my hair again with something else because it did not clean my hair at all. I can't keep using a shampoo that isn't washing my hair :/  I'm glad I added some bonus items because whatever 10 items I'm done with first are when I'm done. I should have explained that in my orignal post. I'm hoping I'll have another update soon! But so far so good and I'm making some slight progress(:

Silver Naked 2 Palette Tutorial

Hi! I have to say out of the 2 Naked palettes I personally reach for the original more than the second one. I realized there are still a lot colors I haven't really used out of the palette. I really like Pistol and Verve but I haven't really used them much at all. So I decided I needed to come up with a look. I hope you like it!

First things first, I used my L'Oreal Lumi Foundation (project 10 pan!) and UD Primer Potion (forgot my Tarte one). I started the eyes by applying UD Tease into the crease.

Then I applied Verve to my lid.

Next I applied Pistol into my crease and outer v.

To add more drama I put a bit of Blackout into my outer v.

To finish the eyes I applied Pistol to my lower lashline and Verve to my inner corner. I also applied my UD Perversion Pencil liner to my water line and upper lashline. Then I applied 2 coats of my Sephora Atomic Volume Mascara.

To finish the face I applied MAC Well Dressed blush and Creme Cup lipstick. And I filled in my brows with whats left of my Rimmel pencil. Here is the finished look(:

Please excuse my brows and my hair. I'm trying soooooo hard not to heat style my hair so I let it do it's own thing. Also my brows are a hot mess but I'm getting them waxed Friday as well as getting a haircut and a few other spa services(: Anyways that will be another post for another day.

Product 10 Pan.... Sort of....

Hi! So today's post is a little different. I decided it's time to clean out my makeup and not add to the madness. I thought now would be a good time for project 10 pan. The only issue with starting this now is my birthday is the 23rd -_- Not the ideal time to start however my collection needs it. So I will have a haul up later this week and that will be my last makeup haul for a little while. I may get the UD Vice 2 palette a little later because I can't make myself wait until this is over to get my hands on that beautiful palette. So anyways let's see my 10 products(:

1. UD Naked BB Balm- I just am not on the whole BB Cream bandwagon. I think it's a good option if you like sheer foundation or usually just wear moisturizer but that's not me. I do wear this product like going to the gym or if I'm running errands and I can't stand having a naked face that day. But honestly it just sits in my makeup bag being used once in a while. And of course I ended up getting a sample of it from work so I would like to use that up too.

What I want to replace it with later- So once product 10 pan is over and I can buy more products I would like to get a small Smashbox BB Cream. I've heard better things about it and while I'm not a big BB cream fan I would like to try it out. I may decide to skip it though and not get another BB cream.

2. Mascaras!!! I do not like having a lot of mascaras because they expire so quickly, dry out fast, and etc. Ideally I would like to use up the Sephora Atomic Volume mascara and the L'Oreal Voluminous  Million lashes however I will probably use up the Dior one first because it is only a sample.

What I want to replace it with later- Once I get rid of a couple of these I plan on either repurchasing the Benefit They're Real or trying a new mascara that I have yet to try.

3. Rimmel Brow Pencil in Hazel- This color doesn't really match as well with my darker hair. I usually add a little bit about my MAC Veluxe pencil to darker the color right now. It's almost gone so I just want to finish it up and be done.
What I want to replace it with later- I really want to try the Benefit Gimme Brow. It's a tinted gel and I really want to try something that might be a little quicker and maybe more natural looking.

4.Tarte Primers- I really liked this little trio but as a beauty blogger/junkie I love trying new products. I think the face primers are fantastic but of course I've had my eye on the NYX Shine Killer and the Lorac Porefection one. The eye primer is good but I prefer my UD Primer Potion.
What I want to replace this with later- Like I said the NYX Shine Killer or Lorac Porefection but I have also considered going back to the Benefit Porefessional or a UD primer for the face.

5. UD Binge 24/7 Liner- I bought this as a travel size off ebay and I'm thinking it maybe a fake. It just does not stay on my waterline which I have not had that problem with any of my other UD liners. Also Sabbath is more what I wanted. Not planning on replacing this with anything since I already own Sabbath.

6. MAC Hue Lipstick- I LOVE this lipstick. It's my favorite nude lipstick and I can't find another I love as much as this. I can't even find a dupe for it. I have the tiniest amount left that I have managed to stretch out but I think it's time to finish it up and get a new one. I depotted it from the tube into this Sephora sample container and this is all I have left. So I'll be replacing it with the same thing just a new one(:

7.L'Oreal Lumi Foundation- I feel like I've had this awhile and just don't want it anymore. This is going to be the hardest one for me to get rid of. My plan is to mix it with my current foundations.
What I want to replace it with later- I think I want to replace it with a new drugstore foundation I want to try but I don't have a particular one picked out right now.

8. Setting Powders- I have 3 different face powders. So the first one is a CoverGirl one I have had for a long time but it is almost gone so I just want to clear it out of my makeup collection. It doesn't really offer much coverage or oil control so I won't miss it. The second is my elf HD powder. Just not loving this one anymore and don't want it taking up space. And lastly my beloved Cover FX powder foundation. This offers coverage and good oil control however I have hit pan.
What I want to replace it with later- I love my Cover FX powder but I want to try something new so I'm thinking the NYX matte powder or I was thinking the Cargo Blu-ray Powder but I may even try the new tarte powder foundation. So I have a few options I'm thinking about.

9. MAC Creme Cup and Angel Lipstick- These lipsticks are too similar for me. I really only need one or the other. I'm hoping to use up Angel because I don't really like the frost finishes from MAC (Odyssey this the exception though). I think the color is pretty but again they are too similar plus I'm hoping to trade in some MAC empties instead of having to buy Hue. So I have no plans to replace them right now. (Angel is the one on the left and Creme Cup is on the right)

10.Big Sexy Hairspray and Bedhead Superstar Thickening Spray- I've had these 2 for awhile and just do not want them anymore. I got a sample of the Kenra 25 hairspray after hearing people rave about it and it is now my favorite. However I didn't want to buy one while I still had this one sitting around. As for the Bedhead spray I feel like it doesn't do much for my hair so I would like to use it up and try some other volumizing/thickening products. I'm thinking these are going to take me awhile to get rid of too.
What I want to replace this with- For the hairspray obviously I want to replace it with Kenra. As for the Bedhead spray I don't have a specific product picked out but I'm thinking about maybe giving Living Proof a try.

11. Bonus Item! Clinique Moisturising Gel- I really like this but I feel like trying something new. This is almost gone but every time I think I'm done with it, more comes out.
What I want to replace this with- I'm thinking maybe a philosophy moisturizer or maybe one by murad. Just going to pick one out after these are all gone.

12. Paul Mitchell Color Shampoo and Conditiner- I literally just bought these and they don't really lather and don't feel like they are getting my hair clean so I would like to use them up and get something new.
What I want to replace them with- I'm missing my Joico damage shampoo and conditiner so I think I will repurchase those. (sorry for not having a picture)

So these are my 10 (technically 12) products for this project. I'm going to keep you updated when I use something up or if I make a lot of progress. I'm hoping this will go kind of quick because I could see some things being hard to be without like my beloved hue lipstick. I had already planned on getting a few things Friday that are not related to this project ( like false lashes) so after Friday this will officially begin. It will be very hard to not buy more makeup for the time being but I think I can handle it. Thank you for reading and I should have another post up tomorrow(:

Orange Fall Makeup

Hi! I received this little Anastasia palette as gratis and decided I needed to do a tutorial with it right away. I really didn't know what to name this but it has a lot of orange tones in it which is a perfect color for fall. Here is what the colors look like.

For this tutorial I'm starting out with my Tarte Brightening primer again and then my Revlon ColorStay Whipped foundation. And again my UD Primer Potion(: First I applied the light brown color (3rd from left) into my crease like so(:

Next I applied the color 2nd from the left all over my lid. And then I got distracted and forgot to take pictures of each step. So then I applied the darkest color in to palette into my outer v and blended into my crease. I also applied the lightest color as my brow bone highlight.  Lastly I applied UD Perversion pencil to my waterline and then I used an angled liner brush and applied the darkest color as liner along my upper lashline.

For the rest of my face I applied my Too Faced bronzer and then my MAC Veluxe pencil for my brows. Lastly I applied UD Naked Lip Junkie(:

Anyways I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial. The palette is called Beautiful Eyes Vol. 2 I believe. I may do a FOTD for tomorrow (or later this week) or another tutorial. Watch for my next post(: Thank you for reading!

Ulta Fall Makeup Tutorial

Hi! I'm not even going to make excuses for not having this tutorial up like last week. But I'm kind of glad I waited because it inspired the darker lip. Anyways this tutorial has been my go to fall look. I seriously am obsessed. Anyways let's get started!

I started with my Tarte Brightening primer and then my Tarte Amazionan Clay Foundation. Ulta eyeshadows work better with a great primer so I used Urban Decay Primer Potion first. Then I applied Ulta eyeshadow in Twilight all over my lid.

Then I applied Urban Decay Buck in my crease.

Then I applied Urban Decay Darkhorse into my outer v and along my lower lashline.

The last few steps I applied Sin into my inner corner and Foxy as my brow highlight. Then I applied my Perversion pencil liner to my waterline and above my upper lashline. Lastly for the eyes I applied one coat of Sephora Atomic Volume mascara and then one coat of Benefit They're Real mascara.

For the rest of the face I applied MAC Breath of Plum Blush and my MAC Veluxe Brow Pencil. And I just applied my Fresh Rose Lip Balm. This is one option but fall has the wonderful trend of bold lip colors.

Then to step things up I applied MAC Craving lipstick.

It's like a dark sort of berry red color. It's super pretty and one of my favorites for fall.

I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial and I have a few more planned for fall and I still have to post the long fall fashion post too. I have more tutorial to post but I'm not sure what I'm going to name it yet. So that will be up soon. Thank you for reading!

Ulta 3 in 1 Review

Hi! So I've had some issues with my computer but I may finally be able to post something now. So the other day I got a few things from Ulta. I also got some NYX lipsticks but I'm going to return those because I picked out the wrong colors. But I got some Ulta brand products and I have to say I'm impressed. I had heard Ulta eyeshadows were kind of hit or miss and not much else about their products. So I got these 3 products.

So let's start with the Super Shiny Lip Gloss. I got it in number 18 because they don't have names. Its like a berry mauve color. The color is really pretty and I figured even if it's sheer I would find some use for it. The first time I applied it came out sheer but after messing around I found that it can be applied more sheer or pigmented. I really like this color for fall right. I also like that they are not super sticky or heavy feeling. The only downside is the gloss has a floral scent to it which I don't hate but I'm not fond of it either. I'll have a swatch picture at the end of this post. Next I got the eyeshadow in Twilight. It's kind of a taupe grey color.  I already have a tutorial for this eyeshadow. It's amazing! They are not as creamy as Urban Decay eyeshadows but they are not chalky and dry. I think the pigmentation is pretty good too. And lastly the concealer. I have had some bags under my eyes lately from working hard and not enough sleep. The reason I really like this concealer is I have no problems with it creasing which was a huge problem for me. It also is very smooth and blends so easily. It has a dark circle treatment that is cooling. I like the cooling effect because it makes me feel more awake. My dark circles have gotten lighter but I'm not sure if this is because of this concealer or if because I'm finally getting more sleep. I got this is the shade light and right now I'm about in NC 20 in MAC. It matches perfectly. I didn't want a super light concealer because then I always have to worry about it being blended enough. The only negative is it is applied with a roller ball which can be a little hard to get the product out. But overall it feels really nice on the undereye area. Overall I really like Ulta products. I haven't tried everything from their line but these products are pretty great for the price. They are also on sale right now so I would hurry to your nearest Ulta to get some. Here are some swatches.

You can kind of see the concealer but I swatched that as well. Later I will post either a tutorial with the Ulta Twilight eyeshadow or a fall inspired makeup tutorial. I'm hoping to post my fall fashion post Saturday but it depends on if I get my boots or not. Thanks for reading! I'll post again later!
